Sorry, but I'd hate to see extra storage as a birthday gift. We all need more space, but limiting it to 2 year old characters is silly.

Transparent aura (like eternal weapons effect)

Lightning aura (like stormbow effect)

Long as it wasn't a freebie Divine Aura I think it would be fine. Maybe implement a new /bonuseffect type thing to show it off for a few moments.

Of course if they made tge aura a tradeable item it would be cool.

But I perfer if the 2nd Birthday gift should be non-tradeable.

I would like to see a mini mountain troll...

And other mini pets would be nice also. I wouldn't mind seeing something other than minipets maybe special customized armors of some kind. And even the Aura idea that Killin_Frenzy came up with would be good. An idea I've had for awhile is to have a customized mini of that 2nd year old character that wields the weapon set you have equipped and wears the same armor that you have equipped that would be pretty cool if you ask me.

Hi Gaile, hi community!

My girlfriend & me would be glad about the following extras instead of a new set of minipets:

extra storage for event items (hats etc)
extra storage for vials of dye
NO more space in normal/resource storage (because more space = more to safe for "later" = ingame economy would go down)
Minipet? Yes, like a lot of other people already said: A mini of of character
would be something really speacial (isn't this a birthday as well?). IMHO it wouldn't be difficult to realize. Some emotes should be made by the mini if the character does some like /dance.

BTW: There are some collector's that offer armor pieces for all kind of characters & sex. What about some armor pieces in the following events? 5 collectors for all kind of armor pieces?

BTW2: We got to know you in Leipzig at GC2006, Gaile, so best wishes for you & your team from Germany. Hope to see you in Leipzig this year (maybe you remember us... you took a photo of us two in Guild Wars Factions T-Shirts and put it onto your official HP).

Ok here´s my idea...

you get an artefact, which you exchange to an NPC on Balthasar´s Isle.

you can choose between some perfect golden wapons. like the NPC if you killed shiro....

these weapons have their own skin, which you not find in the game itself.
and the best...you can´t sell it ;P

or the weapons have a skin with an aura
or your charakter gets an aura if you wear the weapon...

I've some ideas.

A Home (something like a guildhall) where u can invite all your friends for a trink, a game or only to relax

A Map (combine all your continentmaps to one big Map)

A special Cap (something like Partyhat)

A Mini flying Pet ( A Bird, dragon or pheonix who always go around your hat)

A decoration-set (for a Guildhall,Home or your town)

Hope that are some good ideas

Another Idea for B'day present:

Summon a horse or some kind to ride like Necrid Horseman or maybe riding Centaur (Zhed !), no fancy speed increase nor hp increase, just a normal horse to ride with in town and outside (like the minipet behave).

Features:
- they have their own emote (horse emote? xD)
- player can still attacking/using skill while riding the horse (outside town/outpost)
- variant: horse, centaur, pig xD, turtle, moa, etc

From all the threads i've seen covering this topic in the suggestions area, pets seemed to be mostly the last choice.

If it HAS to be a mini-pet, please make the selection far less (only 5 tops) and have it so that you can actually select which pet you get (no more random choice, after all, 2 year old characters are quite rare and it would be nice to have something better than last year).

As a selection for the five:

You could even have it that if it is random, certain classes have a greater chance of a particular avatar (like rangers more likely to get Melandru, monks to get Dwayna).

Personally, my top choice for year two would still be some form of aura or ghostly wings (like paragon spell visual) ...something that CANNOT be traded and stays with the 2 yr old character.
